Good social performance is recognized as an important component in securing a license to operate in specific localities, as well as for attracting high quality staff and retaining discerning shareholders. Corporations will increasingly need to become a part of sustainable development if they are to maintain and develop their business in tomorrow’s global society. Living Earth works in partnership to achieve this on the ground.

'Working with business and industry is a natural extension of the environment movement if it is to have maximum impact. There's an absolute need for direct action, protests, campaign groups and whistle-blowing, just as there's a need for organisations like Living Earth to work within the corporate sector, fostering change.'
