In March 2011 LEF concluded a mid-term review of the implementation of its governance project in 6 Local Government Areas in three States across the Niger Delta.
The review, led by Ally Bedford of North South Consultants Exchange limited, was to provide an independent assessment of the project’s performance and progress against planned targets.
The overall conclusion of the review team was that the project had satisfied all of DFID’s assessment criteria and therefore recommended that it be continued. A number of recommendations were made to enhance project performance in the second half of its implementation.
